This is the Freddie Mercury side of the album and is followed by the whimsical "The Fairy Feller's Master Stroke" and the short but unforgettable "Nevermore", one of the most beautiful songs I can remember hearing. Mercury's "March Of The Black Queen" is song that changes tempos numerous times, and is a one of a kind classic/5.

Queen II is most cohesive album with amazing songs, and my favorite song TMOTBQ. White Queen and Nevermore are also amazing. Nothing comes close to this album and by far my fav album of all time. The next few could switch order, I like them all almost equally but here’s how I’d rank them today.

In one regard, Queen II does indeed provide more of the same thing as on the band's debut. Certainly, of all the other albums in Queen's catalog it bears the closest resemblance to its immediate predecessor, particularly in its lean, hard attack and in how it has only one song that is well-known to listeners outside of their hardcore cult: in this case, it's "Seven Seas of Rhye," which is 8/

The second album by Queen and they just kept getting better and better, the remaster is, including the album cover done perfectly right down to every incredible detail of the original Queen II, Gatefold cover as you would expect with side white and black on the lyric inner sleeve which is supplied separately along with protective album sleeve/5().

Nevermore, like all of the songs on Queen II's second side, was written by Freddie Mercury. It directly follows The Fairy Feller's Master Stroke, which ends with a three-part vocal harmony from May, Mercury, and Taylor and flows into Mercury playing the piano on this track.
  7. Grobei says:
Queen's second album was released in the early with the very imaginative name "Queen II". Okay, how much that tile might lack in imagination, the music on the album does not. Queen II is 45 minutes of sheer musical madness, that probably covers more styles that other bands does in entire careers and everything is so ridicolous and.
  8. Moogurr says:
Queen recorded their first album during impromptu fits of downtime in London’s Trident studios throughout , completing the album by November EMI (in the UK) took their time in.
